I was unexpectedly upset to hear that Andre Braugher, who played one of my favourite characters ever, Captain Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, had died. I loved him, and I would laugh even before the opening credits had finished. Again - and this is one of the beautiful things about my Inkvent project - I changed what I was going to do and honoured Capt. Holt's deadpan Capricornianism instead.

These original, one-off ink pieces of art were created on a daily basis from my Inkvent Calendar in December 2023, a countdown to Christmas containing 25 newly-created coloured inks found behind every window. Each piece is signed, dated and embossed.

A portion of all proceeds from the sale of these pieces is donated to The Trussell Trust, the UK's food bank network.
