Day Nine's Inkvent was created as a pair, because I have a VERY powerful (if I let it be) GoodCop/BadCop voice in my head. Each of the two voices, highlighted in this lyric borrowed from Blackliq, needed their own...sound: “The negative voice in your head might be right about your situation, but it’s wrong about you”.

A singular shimmer ink, Wishing Tree, made all of the shades, tones and effects in these one-take pieces. You will receive both pieces shown.
 
These original, one-off ink pieces of art were created on a daily basis from my Inkvent Calendar in December 2024, a countdown to Christmas containing 25 newly-created coloured inks found behind every window. Each piece is signed, dated and embossed.

A portion of all proceeds from the sale of these pieces is donated to The Trussell Trust, the UK's food bank network.

Please note I no longer offer prints of these pieces, only originals. This is because they increasingly have special metallic or otherwordly finishes that can't be reproduced as well as I'd like in print. However, if you really want one of a particular piece, you can ask me for a custom order.
