"Go into the arts - I'm not kidding!" Amen, sir. The words of Kurt Vonnegut here thrusting back against the twin forces of governmental dismantling of the arts together with the plasticising, desensitising forces of AI. Made with a single ink and and fuck-you nib.
 
These original, one-off ink pieces of art were created on a daily basis - one take, no rehearsal, no retouching - from my Inkvent Calendar in December 2023, a countdown to Christmas containing 25 newly-created coloured inks found behind every window. Each piece is signed, dated and embossed.
