'Dues paid, now I'm overdrawn". Though never meant to be autobiographical, Midlands hip-hop legend and artist Kid Acne's line from his latest album 'Hauntology Codes' struck a chord after the challenges and weirdness in the creative work landscape over the past couple of years.
 
This piece was created with a single ink colour. 
 
These original, one-off ink pieces of art were created on a daily basis - one take, no rehearsal, no retouching - from my Inkvent Calendar in December 2023, a countdown to Christmas containing 25 newly-created coloured inks found behind every window. Each piece is signed, dated and embossed.
